The akg c2000b mic is the only mic i have access to, i am a reggae dance-hall artist ( guy) . Pls anybody with past experience with this mic should pls give me hints on how best to use this mic for vocals

The horrifying truth is- You can get professional results on *somebody*, if it's a shoe that fits. Will it work for you? Who the hell knows (like with any mic you haven't tried)? If it works out for a vocal mic, cool. But- if not- hang onto it. It's good for recording lots of stuff- Acoustic, guitar cabs, percussion, strings, brass, piano. For certain instruments, like mandolin, it can work as a live mic. A pair is good for overheads. It's a versatile, relatively cheap mic. What's not to love?
