Akai MG1214 Mixer

I have just bought two of these beasts for the sum of £199 pounds, but they are not working! ......i knew that before hand.
They both power up but one plays the tape etc and seems to fully work but nothing on the output, even threw the headphone socket, the other the is a problem with the recording tape deck. Does anybody know what might be the problem with the output, or should i swap the recording tape deck over?
Can anyone help????

Welcome.

I suggest you repost this in the analog section.

I had one of these, but just passed it on to someone else recently.

You have 2 which is going to turn out to be useful for you as parts
are hard to come by.

Even harder is someone to work on it for you. Not too many folks work on these units anymore.
I suggest you try to find someone unless you are experianced in analog
tape deck repair.
