What do i do after

after i create a beat in fl, how will i be able to mix it in samplitude? say the beat in fl is 4 minutes long and i have 15 different sounds, do i have to solo each instrument and render each one seperate in fl (which each sound is gonna last for 4 minutes since the beat is 4 minutes)? cause this way will be a pain since it's going to take up alotta hard drive space since its .wav and each sound last 4 minutes and there is 15 different sounds lol. is there an easier way to do this? thanks yall

That's the only way I can think of.

Just solo a track, make sure its in "song" mode, and export to wav. Make a new folder somewhere and name it accordingly, and export them to the new folder. Do that for all 15 tracks.

Just out of curiosity, why don't you just mix the beat in FL?

thaks for the feedback. i just like mixing in samplitude because it has more variety to work with

Its just one of those things.
Bouncing (rendering) tracks can be a pain in the arse, and can take some time, its the only way to do what you want to do.
Just make sure you render the tracks to te same quality of your samples.
So if your samples are 24bit/44.1kHz then render to 24bit/44.1kHz

anyone else have any other suggestions?
Yeah, make sure you also have the faders set to "0" and paning set to "0". Nad work out if you need to render a track as stereo or mono.

That's the way I've always done it. Except in my version I mute all the other tracks. I like to export the wave as a mono file too.

Have fun ;)

I don't have either FL or Samplitude, but is Rewire no help in this case? I think both support it.. but not sure whether both are Master only...

Save each in wav in the mixer built in the FL, thats the only way I know. Then record it...

It's really easy. Put each sound in a different channel on the mixer. Go to file and export , then audio. Save to whatever folder. When the grey box comes up with all the options, check export separated tracks. Done!! Trust me, alot less work!!! Have fun fam.
