Adobe Audtion - Mic is panned to the left?

I recently bought a Audio Technica AT2020 mic, a M-Audio MobilePre USB Preamp/Audio Interface and a copy of Adobe Audition.

When I record into Audition in stereo mode, it only records on the left. I have checked all the Pan options and they are set to "0"

What do I need to change?

Change to a mono track in audition. One mic = mono.
