First of all, I'm using the VS880EX unit. Here's my scenario. I've recorded 6 tracks. I want to be able to put a bit of reverb on one of the tracks, but in a certain spot, I want to add an additional effect. This additional effect will only last for about 10 seconds.
How is the best way to do this? I want to keep my original, dry version of the track so that I can mix it into the final mix along with the wet track I'm trying to create.
I'm toying with the idea of recording this track onto another track, applying effect 1 during this process. When that's done, I can copy just the part I want to apply effect 2 to, and then record that 10 seconds worth using effect 2. Is there an easier way to do this?
Thanks!
