Addictive drums

Hey iv'e recently got addictive drums. I've always record real acoustic drums(DUH of course) but this is for a project im doing myself. and i cannot play drums if my life depended on it. So i turned to this. I use both protools 8 mpowered and cubase 5. I'm more familiar with cubase iv'e been using it far longer but i cannot figure out how to use this plugin for the life of me. I can't open it through audio track(of course) and iv'e tried instrumentand midi tracks. I'm a midi noob. Iv'e googled addictive drums cubase tutorial but found nothing. does anyone know how to get addictive drums setup ready to go and running in cubase?
 
I dont have the answer however i notice a lot of people have trouble with VST's and cubase...on another forum someone had the same problem with guitar rig.

Hopfully someone will know the answer...I may be able to find out an answer by searching that other forum because I think they eventually resolved the issue.
