adat xt to motu828 to macg4(logic)

need help in transferring tracks from my adat xt to my computer. i have the motu 828mkii as an interface. i'm assuming i just connect the two pieces w/ the sync cable & then run a firewire between the motu & my mac. does this sound right or are there any connections i'm missing.

Don't forget to attach optical lightpipe cables from the XT's optical outs and ins to the 828mkII's adat optical outs and ins, and clock the 828mkII to the adat optical stream.
