i want to link up 4 of my pedals to one wall wart with one of those strand things that turns one connector on the wall wart into 4 so i can plug 4 pedals to it... they're all about 300mA and 9vDC. Would i want to get an adaptor for them that is 1.2 amps and 9vDC so that they're all given sufficient power? thanks

oh yeah and also, one of the pedals is 9V, and 3 of them are 9.6V. is this ok? I was also planning on possibly putting in another pedal down the road. It's ok to have more current going thru than necessary, right? if i remember correctly you can have extra current, but nothing else. thanks guys

stick to them 9V batteries, they're less noisy and you'll save yourself from the hassle of all those wires.

thanks i'll probably just end up doing that.. but maybe just for the sake of knowing? anyone?

yes more current, and no more voltage (keep it at 9). and about the only way to find out if a 9.6 volt pedal will work is to try. i have a few that are add numbers a little above or below 9 and they all work fine. and remember as long as you get a power supply that is transformerless you wont have the hum that is normaly associated with wall warts. (ie godlyke)

thanks! how do you tell if an adaptor is transformerless?
