I love the strings on this. All that layering paid off as you achieved true hugeness (I made that up) with the sound. I am unfamiliar with this piece (no surprise) and would have believed it came from a much earlier era.

I'm pretty sure you've heard this before, but after this track, I played 5 seconds of Sabre Dance and both my kids came running from the play-room yelling..."Oh! I love this song!".

What kinds of synths do you use? www.synful.com has a usable 15 day demo. Try it, its weird but it can get results. Listen to some of the samples on that site, they are very impressive.

I'll check out that demo. Right now, I'm using Emulator X for my strings. I'm sure there are better out there!

Did that one on the first Album. Tim Lawler and I made a duet of the beginning, then it developed with synths. I think we should have left it just Tim and I playing acoustic!

Yeah, Faure is a good choice for my brand of classical/synth stuff. Very impressionist with lots of options.
