Make sure you listen to the krks before you buy them. I tested the rokit 5s and they sound very anemic if you're mixing anything with bass in it. The 6s are far better in that respect and also have a flatter response, but they're too big to take with you. As long as you're seriously mixing anything you could use some good headphones, but for monitoring there are a lot of optons that are the same size or smaller than the rokit 5s (maybe even check out the krk v2-series), but they are much more expensive. The RP5s have a pretty clean sound overal but you can't use them if you're mixing certain types of music.
