I noticed that most clips that i find of pro's "studio live" recordings are performed in untreated rooms. at least not as treated as i know treatment should be (foam/rockwool/fiberglass boards on the walls, bass traps and etc..).
look at this clip for example, i don't see any treatment, and to me, it sounds terrific.
i'm planning on doing some acoustic treatment in my room (both recording and mixing room), and when i thought of all those clips, i was thinking that maybe there is another approach i might not know of. maybe you guys can clarify those stuff for me.
by the way, do you think they are really recording with all of these mics? there is something like 4 mics there..
