okay guys...

Having fully digested johns studio design manual, I'm wondering where to go next.

Johns manual is great, but i'm thinking of gong deeper into the Maths of acoustics etc.

I already have "acoustics and psychoacoustics" Howard and Angus

Is there a better book? -- or PDF? :D

cheers,

d

What book are you mentioning. I need some help as well.

The classic introductory text in acoustics is Kinsler & Frey, "Fundamentals of Acoustics".

It's an outstanding book written at about a 3rd year level in undergraduate physics or engineering. But for it to be of much value, you'll need to have some familiarity with differential equations, and a bit of complex analysis would also help.

Is this the level you're looking for?

I'm reading 'Master Handbook of Acoustics' by F. Alton Everest right now. Its a pretty decent book, very light on math, but goes into depth about practical application in a studio, etc. Not quite the detailed text I had hoped it would be, but a pretty good start.
