I'm trying to find acoustic guitars that has pickups on them then one one i can find is this

Epiphone EJ160E John Lennon Round Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Do u guys know any other ones??

No. That's the only electro-acoustic guitar they make. Definitely. Sorry about that.

Pickups like that on an acoustic are not something any company does anymore. Back in the early days that is how you got an acoustic electric. Its in production for the few people that want John's guitar. No other reason.

What about those Taylors, the T5's, they claim to be both, although they are a helluva lot more expensive than the Epiphones.

external pickup. The others look like they have a saddle pickup.

Yes i mean EXTERNAL pickups i don't like piezona or saddles pickups at all

I looking for external pickups on acoustic guitars

But you'll need ones that work with nickel strings, right?

It doesn't matter as long it has external pickups nickel or bronze

Bronze strings will sound like ass with most electric guitar style magnetic pick-ups, so it does matter.

Oh yeah, cool. Hell, slap a couple of P90's into that bad boy, then.

i don't like how p90s look like how kurts silver pickups looked

what kind of pickup is in the John lennon acoustic ??

It's a Polarised Reverse-Induction Coil Kent pick-up.

Commonly abbreviated as the P.R.I.C.K pick-up.

Sounds ideal for your needs.

Kent doesn't make these

Which one on kents list ?

Sorry, my mistake. It's actually the Kent Unwound Neo-Transistor pick-up I was thinking of. You guessed it, commonly abbreviated as K.U.N.T. Needless to say, the P.R.I.C.K pick-up works beautifully in conjunction with the K.U.N.T, although before placing a P.R.I.C.K anywhere near K.U.N.T's circuit, you will need to make sure that the K.U.N.T's pots are clean and free from grease, and that your polarity matches.

where is the hyperlink for this?

This is not the pickup in the lennon acousti guitar?
