Acid Pro 4.0 stores EVERY recording

Hi people. I'm assuming this is an easy fix, I just don't know how to do it.

When I'm recording a track in Acid pro 4.0, the record window gives me 2 options: 'stop' which keeps the recording as part of your project, and 'cancel' if you don't want to use that recording. Simple enough.

What I've noticed is that every recording is stored in the Acid program folder as a wav, even if I click 'cancel'. Last week I opened the Acid folder and there were about 600 wav recordings, over half of which I never wanted to keep. These aren't temp files; some of them date back to 3 years ago. After a while all these files begin to slow down my system. The only way I can clean them up is by opening my acid projects and making a list of all the recordings being used, and then opening the Acid folder and manually deleting all the recordings that are NOT being used. Very annoying.

Is there a way to stop Acid from saving canceled recordings??

I believe every DAW does that simply because if you accidentally deleted something, or if you deleted something that you later came to regret, you can undo it and it can be restored.

In Pro Tools, you can just press "Option+Shift+U" to select unused files, then "Option+Shift+B" to delete them from your system.
Maybe Acid has a similar function?
