AA 2.0 and Tascam US 2400 controller?

Does anyone out there have any experience with using a Tascam US2400 controller with Adobe Audition 2.0? I can't get any response from Tascam, but it would be pretty cool to be able to use a tactile controller like that.
 
its kinda strange how people dont seem to have an answer for this....I am interrested in purchasing one as well...but i just cant find an answer on if it will work with my set up or not....I really like AA and hate to have to transition to something else.....

I'm not warm and fuzzy that Tascam doesn't know either... If it was released as just another Pro Tools controller, then they should say so and be done with it.
 
Control surface support is limited to Mackie control systems. The Tascam has Mackie emulation but the controls are preset for certain programs, so I don't know whether or not this will be any use. I'm sure Adobe is working on the issue, but there are no other resolutions at this point.

That's a much clearer way of stating the issue. If the US 2400 Mackie Control emulation renders this unit as a useable control for any program utilizing the same MIDI codes, then maybe that answers the question.

How standard is a standard?

Damn. If this thing can be tweaked to run with Adobe, I'll stand in line for one.
