WOW, listening to this streaming on soundcloud,

but since this is a temp file, i thought the soundcloud streaming would be fine.

if nothing else,
at least it informs me of how badly typical streaming service really sound,
and maybe i should EQ my stuff a bit to take that into consideration.

Well, I don't know what the original sounds like to you, but most streaming services can devolve so something like 128kbps (stereo!), or less.
I do know that SoundCloud has the ability to accept non-lossy format files and play them in "HD" but it may require a paid service for uploading or even listening to that content. (I have an inexpensive, but paid account, that's grandfathered in they want me to drop. I can upload HD content, but not sure I can listen to anything but my own! I was listening to your link in the embedded player, but now it's gone, so can't see what options there were, if any!
