This one was based on an instrumental i did way back when, on a cassette-based multitrack machine.
it was originally called "Pali Face".

i always wanted to do a song version of this, and once i got the lyric idea, the arrangement came together nicely.

as it is, i've done an instrumental version of "lost dream"...
called "pali face", which is a full on fuzz pedal experiment!

WOW, this one sunk like a stone!

heh

i did think there would be more interest in this one,
a little different than my usual stuff,
some ambience, killer guitar parts, etc...

ok, bump time

Yeah, I LOVE this kind of stuff, sounds great....love the low drone! I always love your playing , really like how the vocals hit when they enter, do you sing as well?
Very modern proggy vibe ! Cool!!!!

It's a neat combination of electronic, new age, world flavored music. Borderline Floyd, circa The Wall period.

When the lead guitar comes in - pull the droning down - you could dampen them via a gain reduction sidechain when the guitar lead fires.

Vocals could come up a smidge.

There's a lot of low mid fog, though that is obfuscating clarity. It's all REALLY close, but some clearing would still be beneficial.

hi monkee!
thank you for the comments.
yes, i do all the singing.
the low notes, are a low organ note that comes and goes, it backs up the low bass in the beginning and end.
