A Sample of a mix... Pop Rock goodness..

Hello everyone.

I have a sample of a newer song on my site that I'd love to get some feedback on. I've been recording on and off for the past couple years. I use really crappy gear.. but I think I make it work..

Sounds really noisy on my end. Also, the bass seems a little high, and the vocals a little low. I like the music though, your doing pretty good composition wise i would say!

I agree. The bass is a bit loud, and your vocals need to come up a bit. You're on the right track.

The quality sounds good, but vox need to come up as its a pop song. Not into the song but thats just me.

Acoustic guitar needs more body and definition. Kick and snare need to come up to give the song a pulse. Vocals need to come up and define their own space more (too much "air" almost).

Not a bad job though. Writing and recording this type of music is trickier than most people think.

I like this mix - very airy sounding, but agree that the vocals need to be a titch louder.
