a noob question

Hello all! Noobie here with a question:What is/are the differences between a Tascam DA30 and a Tascam DA88? I found both of these at a mom-and-pop music store today. The guy opened about one month ago and I just found them looking around. Seeing as how I've got a Tascam M2516 mixer so's I can dabble around with analog equipment which of these two recorders would be the best choice or would both be a good choice to buy? They're only $95 each anyway.:eek:

The DA30 is a 2-track deck while the 88 is an 8-track recorder. Digital tape formats are considered obsolete, so they have next to no resale value today, as you found out!

Like I mentioned I'm just looking to buy one of these just to have some "vintage" equipment to play around with.
