I have spent years battling computer problems, and think I've finally gotten it under control, but now my equipment is out of date.

I have an Aark 24 8 channel interface that I'd like to use, but I can't find the drivers for WinXP anywhere....

Is this equipment hopelessly out of date? I remember the few times I got to use it before my computer went on it's downward spiral it worked fairly well. What happened to Aardvark?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Aardvark went out of business, I believe. I don't know if they ever released decent WDM drivers for their products, but there are probably ASIO ones. Depends on what software you are using whether these will be useful or not.

WinXP pro is largely WinNT on steroids, try those drivers if they exist. You can always back them out.

The Aardvark Support group will help you.

XP can be a pain sometimes, mostly when useing older products,XP seems to prefer the latest thecno stuff ( I know because I use XP.) If you are running DX9 you will definately hit a few snags with older products. Wish I could help but I am often frustrated myself ( just thought you might like to know you are not alone.)

I don't think Windows NT ever even supported MMX drivers at all. The XP drivers (WDM) are totally different.

Thanks....I got 'em!

That aark support group worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion.

take care,
niki :)
