hey guys, here's a new tune.. I played the drums on a 4 piece set of electrics..

there are no keyboards.. all the strange sounds were created using 3 different processors..

rip it to shreds if your bored.. :)

any thoughts are cool as always..

if your totally bored, I got rid of the organ on that classical tune, but it doesn't have DavidK's violin yet.. 'delude'

You one bad MOFO!:D , love the break-downs @1:20&3:20? Damn man that was A-OK!! Vocals kick major ass as always Sami. I'ma down loadin this one bro. Rock on!

i like the slowed down pace section that goes on near the middle.......very nice solo tone........to be perfectly honest, this is not my favorite song of yours, but that's not to say it's a bad song....i've just enjoyed some of your other stuff more.........the production is on like always........nice work....great guitar tones

.......i really like that slowed down part........

Quite a bit of stuff going on in the intro. Weird - in a good way.

Cool overall sound on the verses. Lyric's - so-so. Harmonies - cool. Guitar at 2:15 cool x 2. Guitar at 2:25 cool x 1.5. Whatever Trip...

Got a great crunch guitar sound working as always (especially that sound at 2:15). Lost count of the number of sections. All well played, recorded and mixed.

Good job.

Oh Sam! I second the high cool factor on the beaks. Is it me? It feels bass shy to me, especially on the first section. I still think you get more mileage out of a J Station than any other human. I like this one a lot.

well what have we here....

I was wondering if you sold your gear...

A wild adventure! Very difficult to comment on the mix of more artistic music, but I didn't find anything that really bothered me. Could have maybe been a bit more bass presence in the techno-ish areas, but it works well as is.

As for arrangement, the changes are very cool, but I think there could be some transitions sprinkled throughout, ear candy lower on the dynamic scale to create more of a sound story. Have you ever heard Mr. Bungle's Disco Vilante album? Very different sound than this, but if you've heard it you might know what I mean.

Anyway, another one for my Sam CD. Nice job!

Love the fat rhythm guitar! Overall sounds great but maybe a little lower end. Maybe.. big grin

how do they say it now days?................ word......

Sam,you just rock my world baby!:D

I love that psycotic flute at the beggining, too cool!

My fave's were the slow breaks at 1:58&4:27.
(You knew I'd say that,didn't you!) :p

I know I said it before, but man,you are the Master of changes.
Perfect every time, suprising but not out of place.
I don't know how you do it.
Do you score it out before hand?
I can hardly keep track on a I-IV-V song!

Really great sounds Sam,all the way around!

Thanks,
Pete

Risen from the dead!

Great stuff Sabbath...as always...awesome tempo changes...a nice creative song....and there is a definate splash of Mr. Cantrell and the late Layne Staley in there!!!!

Abso-Fokkin-lutely, In-Fokkin-Credible

Tits.

Need more bass/sub stuff

Great tune Sam!

whoa... somebody's killing those bagpipes...!

Psychotic bagpipe-thing... whoa...

Your guitar sound is getting cleaner and HEAVIER, if it'were possible... I love the SH*T out of that bridge (1:40ish...) that downward chord progression rules sky above and earth below...

Damn, just shove THIS in a guy's face when you want to join their band... they'd bow down ;) Those buttflocks don't know what they just gave up :)

HEAD BANGING!!! 2:45!!! YEEAAAAH!! (Watching JR#97's avatar ;)) Again, I'm loving this off-tempo riffing stuff... Led Zeppelin showed it to the world (AFAIK ;)), and you made it your own...

Excellent signature riff... 3:03... howd you track this thing? To that 788 still? Sounds cleaner than all your stuff to date... the mix approaches SLuiCe/JMarcomb/Guernica's quality... it's probably right there.... listening on these cheepa$$ speakers, it still sounds beeyouteeful..

I'm not sure how you'd improve this; vox maybe a bit low in places? But other than that, an awesome production....

...now what's this bullsssh** about giving recording a rest for a while, and coming here just to listen? :D

Heavy stuff. Digs it...

Hey Sam,
GREAT guitars man. Man, Ive got a J-station ........and it sounds nothing like this:mad: .....must be a flaw in mine:confused: :D ......flaw indeed........ Youre getting a very "Kobain" guit tone w/ the picked rhythm in that bridge.

Very cool composition man. The vocs sound great. I really like that part that you start this with. It really sounds cool over that rhythm. These are new drums to you? .....more on those please. They sound good...... snare might be just a touch small, but thats only opinion.

You mentioned 4 processors........ which ones?

GREAT stuff Sam

guitars are on there way out... synths are making a comeback. Bass players are just shitty guitar players...don't fret that issue.
and......this is on the top of your page..... new filing system. It is not like the old filing system.

I asked it before, and I'll ask it again...

<<--------<< beware the 6 week old dog penis... it is aimed in a forward nature.

oh wait...that wasn't a question ......is this?

this song seem more gold-ish... less of the silvers and silver/blacks...

your fidelity suffered a little bit too.

yes...you are allowed to sing...

B++

the picked octave/fifth/octave...with the groovy leads was my fav area of the bar.

plumbers are bummers... rockers are cockers...

half step movements rule!!!

ya da man!!

left out!!

That's fuckin' great man!! It's a little bit of a lighter touch in the mix than usual. I like it.....it could use just a bit more bass in it but I like the brighter sound and it still has that signature Sam-sound that's so recognizable. I think the vox is a little low in a few places.

I also liked the two slow sections fit in there. Muzeman is right about your ability to suddenly, totally change and still keep a coherant feel. Good playing all the way around. Really, anything I'd suggest on this tune would be personal preferences. Very nice piece, pardon me while I download it. ;)
