...happier than you.
O.K... I'll concede and look into moving the Leslie sound aroond to get it more to your linking...
(but you're still not getting my Taylor..
) And I could adjust the speed of the Leslie.. but the cheap (read "free") plugin I'm using for that effect won't save my settings!!!
I've messed with it, and re-downloaded it,.. but the dumb thing just forgets what I set it to, and goes back to the defaults, whenever I close it. I have a couple other "glitchy" plugins.. I got one that just kinda "forgets" it's settings every once in a while, and goes back to the default... needless to say, that ticks me off...
If anyone's got a cheap (read "free" again) VST Leslie plugin I can use, then feel free to pass it along..
(P.S... the one I'm using is made by mda, so don't bother sending me that one again... it's the only one I was able to find on the internet.)
By the by,... The vocal sound is like that partially because he has a very strained, "grainy" voice.. it sounds like that in person (almost)... and on top of that,... it's compressed all to hell...
so that prolly has somethin' to do with it to...
But the more I think of it, and listen to it,.. the more I think most of the vocal issues (including the BGV problems that I'm hearing) are the result of proximity on the C-1... I may have to re-track a bunch of stuff... and if I do.. you'll be the first to know...
