Hey Holdings, are these things made on the same barges as those mics you make with outlaw Chinese labor?

If not, then I think you need to partner up with that Mic Sales guy. He seems like a pretty sharp fellow, and I think he'd do a really good job of promoting your products.

I'll hook you up with him for a finder's fee. Or maybe you can just give me one of your log-splitter thingies.

This thread popped back up long before Brent posted. Obviously someone voted in the poll.

The splitter of logs to be offered by my company is very many much more simple of use.
Its cost has only 300 greckens.
Cheap in quality but not as much cheap in price.

OK class, all together now...

"Hey nah, Hey nah, my boyfriend's back!"

On a more serious note, I've no interest in log splitters but am in the market for a great MLM opportunity selling quality nose hair clippers.

Wow, I'd totally forgotten about this thread. I'm surprised it's not in the Locker.

LOL... ok. :) Hey, I see your not posting company ID... are you no longer a PMI Audio Group employee?

I am at this moment firmly ensconced within the deepest regions of the subterranean PMI compound.
A lot of times, if the subject matter of the thread is not related directly to microphones, etc. I will not post my company ID. IMO, it kind of detracts from the "one-liner" nature of a wood-splitter thread posting when there's a big signature attached.

Hi! Micsales here!

Thankyou Cheessrock for your vote of confidence. I think that this marketing individual is very clever to use a BBS such as this to excercise his fine english in the pursuit of selling some of his fine products. After all, not many land lubbers can tout the virtue of his wares here. It takes some pretty intellegent BBS members to really understand what a deal this log-splitter really is!

I know that I need a log-splitter. Maybe two. But, I digress. I feel that the manufacturing of log-splitters on my barge is possibly the wrong move to make in this log-splitting market. After all, how many people use a log-splitter in their day-to-day activities? Log-splitting is really an anaerobic excercise in itself and I cannot see any of my HR bretheren getting off of their comfey couches and expending any energy to do such a task. I do understand that the caloric expendeture used in recording music is roughly the same as sleeping, but log-splitting is just too much to ask of any reasonable HR person. Heart attacks are an aquired taste.

In the end, I would not really be interested in manufacturing these fine log-splitters on my barge as the profit margin is just not there. We are happy with our ASM B-1 microphones that you can buy at most docks near you!

Again, thanks Cheessrock for your continued interest in our fine products. Maybe on a fine day when we hit a dock near you we can go fishing together. I hear that the Studio Projects mics make great bait for some sharks out there!

They make better fishing weights... better than Bank weights, which have been around for a long time, they are like a bell sinker, but the eye is cast into the lead, thus making them faster, and cheaper to manufacturer, they are used heavily in the 3 oz, to 1 1/2 lb range for off shore reef fishing, with dropper rigs. Occasionally you find these in your local tackle shop, molded by some local fisherman, as this is a popular fishing weight mold that is sold to the public for making their own weights. It does hang easily when not fished straight up, and down, when using it this way, it works quite well, and many catfisherman use them for straight up and down fishing with a dropper rig, bouncing the weight on the bottom.

Is there an XLR to eyelet adapter for attaching to the line?

And does bouncing it on the bottom cause any frequency abberations?

Also, I assume that after use as a sinker, the mic would have to be dried for several hours over a 100W light bulb prior to re-use for recording purposes.

Any difference in salt versus fresh water use?
