Argh, I hate it when soundclick won't stream for me. What the hell is going on??
 
For members only...and there's no way I am signing up with soundclit for this.
 
What's that annoying clicking sound? The bass?
It sounds pretty good, vocals could go up a tad bit - and the kick sounds either a tad bit too compressed, or it has a little bit too much low end (like under 80hz). Other than that I think it sounds good, besides that annoying click from the bass or whatever it is.
 
The mix sounds o.k. to my ears. Everything seems to have a place. I am not fond of the vocal processing, however. Sounds overly auto-tuned or something.
 
the click in the bass is your punishment for not useing newer strings

sounds good other than that, actually the low end of the bass is nice and tight

yea the vox effect is kinda wierd but whatever

I have NEVER gotten soundclick to work... NEVER! So now I just blow right by them if that is the link.

Any sites you can recommend that do work for you? Soundclick was the first site I came across that offered free hosting, but I wouldn't mind trying some others, especially if people think it's better.

And to the guy who started this thread, I'm not really qualified to offer any advice, but I can say that I thought it sounded pretty good. But I agree with the guy above who mentioned the clicky bass sound, that's kind of annoying. I don't know if it's how the guy is playing, or if it's because of the tone, but I'd probably try and change that. If it were me, that is.

ok so much for that clicking bass sound that you guys are drilling me, its not the "old strings" nor "technique" that makes the clicking. its actually the high ends that I fully boost up (about 10db on 1khz) i thought it would be sound good but not. any way thanks for the feedback guys

PS i would be happily to share any technique you like in my mix, thats if you like any(im not bragging, nor a jessie garcia type of artist), probably none :D
 
my point is that with better strings you would not have to make that hf boost
the hf boost is what brings out the click, not old strings but people trying to compensate for them
