A friends demo.

Hi. First of all, thanx you all for posting replies to my last mps post. I've decided to post something I just recorded. My friend who plays fiddle asked if I could make her a short demo CD. Well, I did. The song I posted here is an air that we recorded. I just played bass and she played violin and her friend played piano. Since I don't have proper studio monitors, I was wondering If someone could take a listen to it on studio monitors. I had it sounding awsome on my stereo speakers but on any other speakers it sounds different, ie: the piano sounds muddyer. Is this from not having good monotors to mix down with? Thankyou for listening.

Some really in your face fiddle! I liked it better in the spots where the violin wasn't hitting that shrill zone, but that's my taste even re my current favorite fiddle piece on CD, The Bach Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin by Henryk Szering-

I agree, the fiddle needs to go down in volume for everything to gel better. Very nice tune.
