Hi, has anyone played one of these?

It’s my understanding that they are not sold in stores, but there are some big names using them. I've seen Joe Walsh, Gram Nash, Kenny Loggings, and Michael Mc Donned using them.
I’d love to try one, but the Luthier lives in California, and I believe he meets with you for the sale. The guitars are somewhere in the 2K up to $17,000. Price range. More money than I have right now. Anyone have more information about these?
