Being that I CAN NOT play a guitar solo with any melodic elements at all I can only stand back and comment as a, a, a...bass player.
This is cool.
I'm learning through listening - Taking the Vai anthology slowly hoping to get the picture through familiarity & I've absorbed a face full of Trower of later (B.O.Sighs)- your guitar lines are quite tastey and there seems to be expression and emotion rather than pure speed/shreddery at their core.
The arrangements are very nice - some good patches you have too. David's right in that the usual "target audience" would probably demand more detail/texture/depth in the arrangements but the arrangement, as is, stands up well.
I'm not offended by the wet guitars - I really like them - reverb & delay are serious drugs for lead players and as a listener I enjoy the effect of the effect without getting caught up in the purity thing.
Adventurous, expansive, stretching you & me, electric guitars, drums & string things so all I need is, going back to my perspective for a mo, a little more bass.
