That some heavy guitar and bassing you`ve got there.
I love it, I dident think this song could sound any harder, untill I heard this.
Exelent, I would love to add some guitar to this, but I think I want to rerecord my parts so they fit better with yours.
Massive and heavy.

again sorry for the delay, but I`m going in to the studio tomorrow, and I will track some stuff. :)

ps due to the recent delays with nakatira airlines, we now give out trippel frequent flyer points.
and we`ve got peanuts and cuban sigars :D

Cigars....I am so there.....How do you think I got my lovely voice???
Thanks for the listen. I should do another rythum guitar, but am having trouble finding time, so my timing is horrendous on this. I do want to sing a versions, as i haven't done this one yet..... :D

thats sound great.

We offer full refunds I you have the ticketstubbs, we even throw in a bag of peanuts and 7 gallons of gasoline, not the cheap car fuel but airfuel.

"Nakatira airlines been pleasing customers for years, we dont hold times but we serve peanuts"

hows that for a slogan :D

Guys....The only reason I'm not commenting is because I'm only going to go listen to it once it's done with vocals. I can't wait to hear this all done. Rock in....I mean...on!!!

How the hell did I mis this??

Oh, man, this is FUN! Drums are GROOVIN'!! Nakatira's upper register makes me wanna stick a fork in my nuts so I can get up there too... :D Mix is a bit top heavy, some more bottom woudl give it the push it demands...

OK, on to the Dog... Hey, MUCH boomier mix, this one pushes nicely... OK, the vox treatment is a lot more punk-industrial... Guttrual actually works here, it seems so juxtaposed at first because you're used to the stock screeching. But, if you get by that and let the treatment settle in, it works! Not my normal cuppa, but yeah, man, it works!

Very cool that y'all collab...

Hey thanks for listening ;) It's interesting because the backing track I recorded is the same for both of them and sounded somewhere inbetween as far as "boominess" goes. But when I listen to Dogman's and Naka's versions back to back they definitely have a different feel to them.

Love both the versions :D

7 gallons of gasoline? I'm in!!! :D I don't know why, but that just sounds cool. (plus that's probably worth like 25 dollars in the states now)

Ok. rather than start a new thread, here is my version of War Pigs. I tried really hard to bury the vocals, but now that I listen, not far enough...

Rami is on drums, Naka is doing the more melodic guitar, and the 2 solo spots, and I did 2 rythum guitars, almost all power chords, bass, and a lame attempt at vocals.
War Pigs

I tried to make this a bit harder edged than Naka's version, to fit my vocal "style"....
Now, it's off to play with PMC12....

This was very cool, and HEAVY, you nailed it.
Very nicely put together, cool dirty lemmy vox, and heavy guitars.

I`m listening on can right now, through them it sounded as if the bass was just a little bit to loud :)

But it might just be the cans.

anyway it was a very cool version, and I`m very happy to contribute.
with the guitarpart....

Hope we can do this again sometime....

good job. :)

Thanks, man...and thanks for the guitar part. I tried to play with the drums, but got very mechanical with it. There is just so much empty space that I started counting everything. With the guitar part, it got a bit smoother. With nothing but drums on a few parts, there is nothing to hide my vocals. That is scary. And Rami...thanks dude. Drums were awesome. Had I tried to build this out of samples....I would have quit. Now you are to blame..... :D

Really, thanks guys. This was fun to try. I'd love to do it in a band, as it was a fun tune.

Sweet the Dogman version has arrived :D Yeah this is cool man, the vocals sound so different then I'm used to in the song, love it.
Yeah this second verse gets real heavy!

Good stuff dogman! :D

And hey, by the way guys, I haven't forgotten about this tune (just get sidetracked too much) I have a version coming soon with naka's guitar part, rami's drums, an additional clean guitar, some synth, and my vocal attempt...

Hey & Dogman, could you PM me your original immigrant song vocals? I'd like to try a new vocal mix between the 3 of us and mix up the song a bit...

hey snakedog, I have to post the tommorow, or something, as I`m not in my studio at the moment.

its going to be cool to hear that mix :)

Cool :) I'm looking forward to trying some stuff out.

Take your time on sending the tracks, I'm waiting for a new mic in the mail before I try my vocals so I probably won't get around to it till this weekend.

Morning guys, how's this new mix I put together?

I recorded my vox the other day & last night I did a Naka,Dogman, Snakedog vocal mix and added some B3 in the second verse on.

http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=2902952&q=hi

I don't sing high too often, but when I mixed them it sounded, to me anyway, like a bunch of naka's with a dogman at times :D

From 1:40-2:10 there's a Naka/Snakedog duet followed by a Dogman/Snakedog duet ;)

Awesome, perfect. Dogman, voice is the perfect support...makes it sound modern and original. And your choices of when to bring it in and out is right on. Organ works perfectly too. Good pruduction, for sure.

Hey thanks :D
I was happy with how it turned too. Plus I still had the organ sitting there from the last song & couldn't resist trying it out.

Now just hopefully Nakatira doesn't mind me also chopping up his Pic :p
