Hey everyone, check out this cover of The Immigrant Song! I recorded the backing track and Nakatira does the vocals on the first version. Then Dogman takes the vocals on the second version in a whole new direction:

Dude. Thanks for posting this. If you ever need them, I still have the vocal only track. Fun tune to play with. Very hard for me to do....

Yeah this was another fun one to do, & yes, rough on the vocal chords

Sure you can send the individual vocal track. I'll have some fun with it, see how they sound together then throw some me in there and see how it sounds ;)

Man I still cant get over the fact that collaborating kicked ass.
really fun, thanks for giving me the chance.

Now I was thinking how about a sabbath song? :)
I`d love to try some Ozzy vox, maybe some bass, and "or" some guitar.

If anyone is intrested lets decide wich track :)
It would be cool the get every one do a separate instrument or something :D

Dogman, you should a Zappa cover. Maybe some Captain Beefheart or something. The guitar playing is sick.

Anything by Sabbath would be cool. One of my first posts here was a cover of Sweet Leaf, with a guy who did an awesome instrumental, but wanted someone else to do the vocs....So I did.... :D

I'd give anything a try myself....

Sure, thanks for the killer vocals guys ;) I'm digging this collaboration action too

I'd be in for just about any classic rock guitar and/or bass track. A Sabbath tune would rock :D , as would a ton of other stuff... We'll just have to figure it out

Sweet leaf is a very cool tune, I`ve done a cover of that with an old band.

I thoght I`d might throw a few suggestions out there...

N.I.B
Iron Man
War Pigs

so watcha guys think? :)

Nice, that's 3 sweet guitar tunes right there! :D

This is going to be a tough choice...

Thanks man, Doing my best :)

Well its the same for me, if you guys like any of the songs just pick one or all three :D

Ps I cant play drums worth shit, however I can do bass guitar and vox, not saying I`m gonna do all, but if its needed I can.

So I figure that a drum track would be a great start, anyone?

Pretty good job guys. Very credible versions.
Vox on the first very true to the original. Interesting take on the 2nd version, vox slightly too quiet.
Only nit is the shortcut taken on the riff. Ya gotta hit that F# octave so we can hear it.
Good stuff

Edit: Oh yeah can I suggest Symptom of the Universe for your Sabbath cover. Pretty tricky, would sound great if you could pull it off

Nice job guys!I really dug the Nakatira vocals...Dogmans take was cool also...ever hear of a band named Dread Zeppelins version of this?Kinda reminded me of Dogman as they totally made the song there own....
