I have just gotten a mixer, and I don't have a y adapter to test it out with my compressor, so I'll ask you guys.
The only inputs there are as far as a channel strip goes is XLR, Hi Z input, and OUT/IN. It's the OUT/IN that intrests me. Ok, so it looks like the Hi Z is the regular line-level input, just a little better, like a DI box or whatever. The XLR is of course for mics, and the OUT/IN is for A. Output to recorder, and B? This is my first mixer, so I'm still trying to figure it out. But can the IN possibly stand for Insert? There is no seperate Insert jack, so this has to be it, right? Tell me what you think.
Oh, and a few smaller less pressing questions: My MON out jack is mono, is it supposed to be like this? Same with the MASTER out. Is this normal??
