A cheap sony condenser...

I was flipping through a musicians friend catalog and i found a Sony ECM-330 for 20 bucks, marked down from 79 because of a big sale or something. I realized I could use a condenser, my original plan to mic my drumset was to use SM57 on bass and snare, RS mics on overheads. YUCK! RS's completely and utterly suck. right now ive got 1SM57 overhead, one on bass. (I'm also trying XY) Anyone heard anything about this sony condenser? I could really use another mic for my set..

they are electret condencers which make them worth about 20.00

The model you mentioned in the beggining of the thread may be better than rs but you do get what you pay for.
