A cheap Chinese TLM-103 look-a-like for less than 20 Quid!

I saw a mic on aliexpress, and as it was less than £20, I bought one. The strange thing is that for the money, it's actually rather good. See what you think? I stuck it on a soprano sax - which is and instrument that really never records properly on bright mics.
 
Good one, Rob. Thanks for mentioning it's better sounding than those 800s.
 
Ordered one on Thursday for $17.35. Curiosity on the cheap.
 
I found a podcast type dynamic for the same price and that was really good too!
