80s mics - What mics did Vince Neil use?

Hey guys,

I've got a guy recording who kinda sounds like Vince Neil (Motley Crue) so I was wondering, does anyone know what mics were used with Vince?

If you CAN be specific, during the time period between Shout at the Devil and Dr. Feelgood

Probably the same mics they're using now. U87, the Sony mic, SM7b....mics haven't changed much in several decades.

yeah, I know an engineer really liked the u87 for recording Sebastian Bach, but I wasn't sure if there was a specific mic used for Vince.

I would by seriously surprised if Vince Neil was conscious enough, at any moment in the 80's, to even notice his mic without two roadies proping him up in front of it. He's more likely to remember any number of bathroom floors.
