My relatively ignorant opinion is the the Beh B1 has a somewhat harsh quality, and the SP B1 a "flat" or uncolored quality, even though their published frequency plots are virtually identical (which only shows what a load of crap published specs can be.)

A couple of years ago I did a test of several LDC's against each other on vocals, two of which were the B1's. It is somewhat primitive, but can be found here.
It's the first cut.

Thank you, I will post my findings soon. I have completed vocal tests and will now try them on a few instruments.

It's an unfortunate fact that RE was still occasionally (well maybe almost rarely) in attendance when this forum's degeneration originally started.

It is also a fact that he must bear some considerable responsibilty for the sorry state of things here as it was he who disappeared for virtually months at a time while the Mic Forum continued it's downward spiral.

It was he who when he was here, didn't have the intestinal fortitude to straighten things out..........the one time he has turned up in many months, the only moderation he did was to move a post saying this forum needed a moderator, while at the same time he ignored the shitfight that apparently prompted that post, obviously that post was a little to close to the truth. It was he who didn't have the courtesy to respond to messages.

I'll say this publically, and bgavin, feel free to pass it on............."RE isn't a moderators bootlace" and should relinquish that title regardless of whether he bothers to return here or not.

Some responsibility also rests with Admin themselves who also chose to ignore the site for a considerable period of time.

As for RE being responsible for the crap I see going down here, that is pure merde. Those spewing the crap are the responsible parties. I've watched the self-appointed Ashcroft's on this board tear apart manufacturers and castigate other members until they leave. I have a number of them on permanent squelch (a highly effective technique).
 
My only issue with RE is that he was/is the moderator of a forum that has been allowed to degenerate to the level it has...........while ever he wears the moderators hat, he bears the responsibility for this forum, and on that basis my comments are not "merde". If he couldn't or wouldn't carry out those responsibilities he should have handed the hat back to Dragon long ago.

I have in the past and still do moderate elsewhere so I know full well what is expected of a moderator, anyways, let's not start another crapfight.

That's one of the problems - he seldom responds to PM's, and when he does it could be weeks later. If this forum doesn't have a moderator (which is fine with me if that's the way Fiedler wants it), then the "Moderator" field should be left blank.

Maybe RE thinks that being a forum mod is something to add to his resume - it has certainly not been useful for anything else.
