Hey all,

My best friend and I have always wanted to build a studio & finally about 2 years ago we decided to go get a home equity loan and do it. So here it is. Go to the Photo Album in the Media Section on the below link. Both the Construction & Studio Pages have some pretty cool pics. You can check out all our gear under the About Us Section. It took us about 18 months to complete. Let me know what you think. Thanks,

Bryan

The design of the site is lacking - too much going on which makes it extremely hard to read and navigate.

I don't appreciate the annoying "Buy something!" pop-up either.

Hey folks, this is my first post here, and I obviously am hoping to drum up some business. Maybe no one will notice that this is Home Recording and I can pretend this spam is something else, like a brag.

Pretty! Hope all that "eggcrate" foam is fire-resistant. Otherwise, one of these days it could get kind of toasty in there.

I didn't see any popups, btw.

Rediculous. The whole site is linked to MF and Amazon.

They do have one thing, though. They ran all their cables in the walls to prevent cords lying around, "like you usually see in studios.".

Great idea. I'm surprised no one has ever thought of that before. They might be on to something there.

Did we look at the same site Brazilian? I didn't get any popups!

Actually, it looks more like standard corporate template 101 as far as layout...

I agree that simple is good, not that my site is an example either. But having surfed 9 billion corporate sites in my life I didn't struggle with the navigation at all. Was neat looking at the construction photos...

Same here, no popups & the site was very easy to navigate...beside, there's nothing in their store to sale.
I do hope he will be a contributing member & not turn out to be just another spam artist trying to disguise what he's doing.

It came up after clicking back and forth on a couple of links.

Of course if you're using SP2, you probably won't see it - I looked at it on my Dell at work and the IT dept has not gotten around to installing SP2.

Silly Brazilian

The "popup" that you were referring to is a joke. If you go to the Favorites List in the top left corner and click on the words Favorites List, then a little javascript window pops up saying "As you can see, this is our favorites list!". Then if you click on the words Support Our Site, another javascript window pops up saying "So... Buy Something Already!" Most people find them funny but whatever. I'll remove them just for you!! I do hope to contribute to the site in any way I can. After reviewing several posts, I have found that there are many people here that have a lot more knowledge than I do, but I will do what I can.
