5150 Half Stack

The head is NEAR MINT for the people with a magnifying glass looking at items. The cab is in almost mint besides two 2" bruses on the front right side (can barely see it). I got the head and MATCHING 5150 cab back in 2002 and I haven't played it that much. Everything works Flawless.... Asking about $1200 or BO.

What you want to buy is not relevant. Nor is what you paid for it.

You price it that high over market, and you'll be keeping it.

I just sold a legacy cab for 300, check ebay. It shouldn't cost you $1300, it's a great amp btw.

i think its about time for someone to learn that not everything appreciates in value and unless you are sitting on gold, people arent willing to accept a resale at a cost that people would haggle stores that resell it at that price.

Very true, just for reference, I sold a 5150 for $550 on ebay recently, and was very pleased with that number. Also, think about posting on Harmony-central.com forums if you haven't already, i've sold tons of stuff on there, you will also reach a wider range of people.

but theres a big difference between pretty much mint and brand new. brand new i have it in the box with a factory warranty. it has the new smell. pretty much new is 3 years old and it has dust under the knobs.

I agree, just because you payed 1200 then, doesn't mean you can charge that much now, or for our sakes, nearly that much..

Check ebays completed listings and you will see a 5150 half stack which sold for 760...

I agree, but I just want to see if I could sell it for that much. I also DID SAY Best Offer Didn't I? I have only gotten 1 offer through this whole discussion.....

lol yeah but dude, you bought it.....its not brand new... as for 1200 or best offer...most people accept a "best offer" of 100-200 below their asking price. so now you say 1k or best offer.....i say take burnbafield up on his offer for 850 plus shipping....cause i would say 850 including shipping.

So, in mother words, you wanted to see if you could FLEECE somebody? That's not cool. Not only that, but you are REALLY limiting the amount of people who would take your sale seriously, AND it kinda makes them look at you , in a different light. Kind of a no-win situation.....for everyone.

Actually, it technically isn't my first post, since I used to stop in, here, a years or so ago. I just happened to do a search for 4x12 cabinets, since I am window shopping for one, and I happened to stumble across this thread. I found his "asking" price, um...........interesting, shall I say.
