Hey, you can wake me in the middle of the night for a tremelo guitarsound....:)

Nice mood & guitarsound, not too fond of the drumsound though(hear me, nagging about drumsounds :D LOL )

The harmony is a little loud. You also seem to be a bit....slow... If you could tighten it up, and choose a more 'real' sounding rimshot it'll be much better I think.

And it's short, but just short enough. :)
 
I like the idea of mixing sounds that you usually don't hear together. In this case its a tremelo guitar with a hip hop drum kit. I'll play around with it but I don't want it to sound exactly like something else, if you know what I mean.
 
I hear ya man!

I tend to like/choose the 'wrong' type of drumsounds also (as I've experienced on this board), especially in combination with 'normal' poppy music. It's your choice, I accept anything...as long if you make your decision consciously. :)

If you're going for a hiphopsound I'd go full on hiphop though. C'mon, bring on the 909! :D
 
Cool tune! The bass comes across a bit too much. But maybe you're one of those guys who drives by my house rattling the china cabinet. In that case you need to add more. :-)

I like it really. I'm such a pussy at trying new sounds. Good job

Thanks Smokepole. Hard to know what to do with the bass since there only 3 instruments on the track. I wanted it stark and pared down. Kind of like the Sun Sessions (with hip hop drums of course). I'll play with the levels and see what happens.
