Mot sure if this is the right place for this one but…………………

I have a chance to pick up an old jukebox that plays 45’s to put in my basement studio.

Dose anyone know of a place that will cut 45’s. (only a few of each)
I would like to put some 45’s of songs that I recorded and/or other local artists in it.

You need to go to a vinyl mastering house.

"A few of each" will probably cost you several hundred dollars for the first one and slightly less for the "duplicates" of each project.

Well, you might be able to stop at the reference lacquer step. It's probably not going to be vinyl---probably aluminum---but it should be playable. Don't know how long it will last....

The acetates cut during vinyl mastering won't last for more than a couple of plays - they're far too soft. What you are asking for is essentially a run of several hundred where you only take a few copies, meaning each copy is likely to cost you a couple hundred dollars...

Thanks everyone.

Cool idea but it will cost way to much for my hobby studio.

that's amazing. But it also says that you have to know what you are doing. Basically physical mastering back like the old days when the audio was required to be a physical thing that had a physical tolerance spec for the playback device. looks expensive.

Expencive? If i'm not mistaken its $10,000

Dont you just love the edit option? :D
