I saw this on one of those "collectors" shows that was on VH1 the other day and thought what Jack White was doing was pretty cool. He has a shop of all unique vinyl in Nashville.

Just thought it might be a good thing to post up here for anyone who never heard of it.

His studio, which goes by the same name, is nearby. Dude doesn't even carry a mobile phone. He's a twentieth-century man, to be sure.

I watched this episode, and I thought what he is doing is very cool. I would love to visit the shop sometime.

I went by when I was in Nashville last summer. It's a cool store for sure. I picked up a few records and a shirt while I was there. I'd love to go back next time I'm in Nashville. They have a lot of cool things to look at and play vinyl from what's available in the store all day. Now they also have a record booth from the 40s where you can record a record to send someone. There's a video but I don't have enough posts to post a URL.

Cool story gtruchel. When you get enough posts post the video!
