First off.....you could recently buy a MXL V57 fo the same price at Musicians' Friend and I'm sure that's a much, much better mic.
And the grill......it looks like they have a screen printed on it but actually have some holes punched in a solid plate that only seems to be a screen.

its not a mic, Its a dildo

I'm pretty sure that this is what the C-1 will excell at the most.

But... i'm sure i'll find 'em on Ebay for $15 soon enough, and to quote someone i can't quite remember whom it is... "I'd buy that for a dolla'!!"

Actually, you can do some really decent stuff with the V57/1006. I used to hate it...but for some reason it makes a beautiful voiceover mic through the Q10. I'm actually using it right now for voices in a video game project. I used to just abuse it as my general use, wherever I can use an extra type mic...

As for the Behringer...the casing looks like the Superlux/Red5/Samson mics. I'm going to make a guess here...
I'm betting it's going to be a Samson C01 clone, with the 19mm diaphragm, or a clone of the Superlux mic with the half-inch diaphragm. Mainly because it's not in the large diaphragm section of their website. For their B series, they let you know they use a 1 inch capsule.
