MINE 2

Made with two old cheap stereos with twin decks and a microphone socket(remember those?) and a cheap guitar.

So...you can imagine. It actually sounds quite nice...

No?

Are you secretly Jack White? :D

More details of exactly how you got that might be cool.

Sounds exactly like AI.

What am I listening to!? It's certainly not mainstream, not outsider (or at least none that I've heard) not glitch (not close). Shoegaze?

I'm open to all kinds of music. So... I imagine, it actually sounds quite nice...

Definitely not AI, doesn't sound like it at all and I'm not even sure it would be possible to get AI to make a track like this. Also it was made in 2018 well before generative AI was released to the public.

I like the guitar tone actually! Put some vocals and drums/bass on it and make it a song (after nailing down the direction you want to go with it of course)!

Thanks for lending me your ear.

No, I'm not Jack White.

How I got that? I'm confused. I just strum until something manifests and hope I can recall it long enough to press record.

This was made around 1998 or maybe a couple of years later. But if you are saying it is too cool to be human made I'm glad. Unless you are saying it is too artificial...then I'm sad. It's all grist for the mill.

Thanks for listening.

Thanks. Nice? I'll take that. This is the most together piece I made back then. That's why it is so short. Genre? Dunno. I like PAVEMENT. MOGWAI. ARAB STRAP. All the brit 90s indie bands. Godspeed you! Black Emperor. anything weird and modern. If you think this is odd then you should hear my Fruity Loops stuff from ten years ago.

Thanks for lending me your shell-like. Direction? That's not up to me. That's in the hands of my random fingers. I should do something with it. Stay tuned. Probs with all my stuff back then is the crackling when I try to increase the volume. To the BatDAW!

Brit 90's indie, now you're talking! Love me a bit of The Stone Roses, The Boo Radleys, do Stereophonics count?

Too commercial? I love them anyway.

I may have heard some, I was listening through your stuff on Soundcloud. When I went looking for more I came across a post you wrote on a different non music forum, the 'When I was a teenager I would play a game' post. That post would make great lyrics for a song.

I loved it. Was it recorded on a reflective space? It sounds like it was recorded on a garage. I love this kind of vibe, so keep on doing it.
