I love how people are still answering even though he already gave us the answer. Just read the damn thread.
Its always better to answer before reading anyones replies as this can change your opinion on an audio sample.

i think the 1st mix sounds gay...the low end is just out of control

the 2nd sounds better, but not great...now the low end is lacking a bit, and the OH's are way too in-your-face

Just listened to this and wanted to say the playing and singing is very good.

Exhibit A: Aforementioned low-end problems. The bass sounds like it was recorded through a guitar amp. Also the "easy for me to say" bits were weak. Guitar solo bit is too indistinct. The drum roll is sloppy, sounds like the snares are too loose just on that part. Otherwise great snare sound.
Exhibit B: WTF intro. Much better low end. Panning is a bit distracting through headphones, but maybe through speakers wouldn't be so bad. I absolutely love this snare sound, btw. Cymbals are better in this one, too. Bass is still too thin. "Easy for me to say" is still weak. Guitar solos are much better, more up front, and seperated. Kick is a bit cardboardy though.
New mix thingy: Great mix, the kick and bass sound better balanced.
Overall, really great song, and your newest mix, definitely the best.

Mix is good but still missing that big full pro sound, maybe it was that tracks that where recorded weak, by the way what are you using to mix with?
Also are you going to reveal the name of this "pro"[or a link] I mean if he took your money and sent the mix out he's probably expecting the credit.
