Deja Vu is not my style. I didn't like it much. Pedestrian I like. I like being able to hear all the lyrics, but the vocals might be just a hair too outfront. Dissapear vocals have more pitch problems than Pedestrian. The guitar sound seems harsh or something. It sounds like a cheap pickup.

I hope I'm not being too harsh. I think anyone writing and recording is doing the right thing.

First of all, its Vuja De. I understand if its not your style. But I don't care. Its MY style and you don't have to like it. That cheap pickup sound you're reffering to is an acoustic guitar. I'm glad you liked Pedestrian (everybody likes that one). Hope I'm not being too harsh... Just thought I'd give you my $0.02.

To be perfectly honest with you, the acoustic guitar was miked. I think its sounds that way because I wanted it that way. I EQ'd it that way for a reason. I didn't want people focusing on the music as much as the words. I think the words have something to say and I wanted people to hear it.

... .....Okay...

Posting this here was pretty pointless. I won't do it again.

Thanks for nothing.

Ok,

First off, I didn't read your responsees to the feedback until after I listened to your tunes. Your attitude sucks the big ass, but I will try not to let that influecne my response. I know you don't care.

Anyway. The first tune " Vuja De", The tone of the drum machine sounds decent enough, but needs more feel. The vocals are definately your weak link. When the double bass drums kick in, you need to back off the mic and belt it out. Sounds like you are talking over a processed soundtrack. I think the song is well put together though and I like it. Just need to work out the approach to the parts and put some umph into those VOX.

Good Guitars on "Pedestrian". Again, vocals are lost, not awful, but just sounds like you you are on top of the mic and trying to sing so that no one will hear you.

The last tune "Dissapear", sounds much better as far as vocal attack. Like the other reply said though, there are some pitch issues. I like the form of the tune though. I would like to see it take off somehere though. It kinda sits idol. Wait is that what you meant by "American Idol"... ;)

Thanks for the opportunity to listen.

So! I have to get pissed off to get a decent response! What the hell?! I appreciate that you have responded but it seems everytime I post here I get no responses and when I do, they're so vague I feel like shooting my self!

I'm sorry, I'm just fed up with this web site. I've gotten better service from Digitech (and I'm gonna be on their CD 7). I think I'll stick with them. Nothing against all of the people who make good music, I'm just tired of everyone and their "high and mighty" attitude. And, I'm not talking about the people who respond... I'm talking about the people who don't.

homerecording.com can kiss my ass!
