3 ADAT Bank Interface

Hi ive just got a Mackie D8b Digital desk. I want to know what interface i can get that will supply me with 3 ADAT Banks so i can get 24 channel tape returns from the desk into Cubase SX3 (Ins + Outs). Im going to use the optical cable route. What Interface would you guys recommend? Ive so far looked at the Motu 2408 MK II AND MK III with the pci cards. Any other good similar interfaces?

The RME PCI soundcards are supposed to be really good and most of those have a fair serving of ADAT I/O . The Hammerfall DSP 9652 has 3 banks of inputs like you ask for. There's also a PCI-express card that has 4 banks of ADAT inputs.

Assuming you are having this as a permanent setup I would definitely go to PCI route rather than for a firewire/usb solution.

Thanks for your suggestions guys. The M-Audio one is good, but it doesn't have the the word clock input i need. I need Word clock In and Word clock Out like the RME 9652.

The 9652 series from RME is a pretty solid and reliable interface. I have had mine since right after the first one came out. I ended up with it thanks to MOTU and their horrid tech support concerning some strange 2408 issues. I have been thinking about moving to the newer RayDAT card myself, so my 9652 might be for sale.
