Hot on the heels of my 1st post.
I did some remixing mainly to try to get rid of some of the swishy, phased sound on the cymbals when converted to mp3.
I normalized it and de-essered it - both through CEP.
It helped quite a bit.

The name of the song is Hold Back The Tide
It can be found at:

Overall the tune has a clean bouncing sound. Bass line, rythymn, drums, guitar fills are good. The lead guitar seems to have a piece of the lower mids missing. The singing could come up some more. The harmonies falter a little in the low key sections but over all are pretty good. The drums are there but seem anemic a little in the snare and bass drum. How hard are you compressing?

How hard are you compressing?

I didn't compress anything, except vocals.
Should I compress drums only?
