Hi all,
My system:
OS XP
AMD 1600
ASIO 4 ALL
2496 Audiophile Diver Version: 5.10.0.5046
Mackie DFX-6
Reason Adapted

I have RCA plugs going in my INs of the 2496 from mixer Tape out. Using phones plugged in the mixer to monitor. Everthing seemed to be working fine then wammo, I have no clarity and only the left channel (white plug) is working. I have reloaded the driver several times and still no joy. I think it is a driver problem but I can only use the driver from the CD and cannot for some reason download the driver from m-audio. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like an odd driver problem to take out the whole right channel...

Have you double-checked things like: mixer signals are not all panned left, cables are plugged in all the way, cable isn't bad? Are you hearing both the left/right channels in your headphones that are plugged into the mixer and just not getting the right channel signal into the card? Did you check the M-Audio Delta Control Panel to make sure that the H/W In level is not turned down for the right channel? (I just turn on "Stereo Link" so they both stay the same.) Also, in your recording software did you check that your Input is set to your soundcard's Stereo signal instead of just its Left Channel?

Let us know if you have more info.

Perpetual Newbie,
Thanks for the suggestions.
Mixer is not panned left.
Tried two different cables same result.
I have partial control of volume in M-Audio control panel. I think my driver is bad. And I can't seem to be able to download a good driver from M-Audio.

This problem has me stumped.

Could ASIO4all cause this problem?
