246 remote?

does anyone just have a picture of the remote for a 246? im really curious to see what it looks like!

I took a look around on google images and google but no prevail..

No help, but I could've done with one of those 20 years ago!!

There is the TEAC RC-70 and TASCAM RC-71 and the only difference seems to be the name branded on the remotes. Both would work with the 246. Picts below.

Instead of posting a new thread about the remote...

I was wondering... (after keeping on the lookout for one of these mysterious kings of convenience) If it were possible to convert another remote ( like this one http://i3.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/8b/8a/8c71_1_b.JPG .. more likely this one: http://i10.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/8b/13/0ced_1.JPG It has 2 rows of 6 pins like the 246) to a working 246 remote. They (look like they) have the same components...

I would also be willing to make one from scratch... But I'd rather be able to look at schematics than shooting in the dark.
.. and I know that creating a jack that would fit would be a tough task.

any suggestions?
