*NEW* 24 channel Audio Snake box or 24ch Wall Plate
(I have 2 of these available)
Heavy aluminum enclosure kit has pre-punched holes for 24 Neutrik style connectors. Ports 1-12 are labeled, but there is plenty of room for your own labeling. Side walls have holes on either end that could be used as a splitter snake as well. Face plate is perfect for use as a wall plate without the enclosure (I original bought a few of these kits just to build my own wall connectors in my studio)
Includes all screws for the box and also 48 small screws to attach your connectors.
The box dimensions are: 16.5" L x 6.25" W x 5.125" D
Plate has room to drill additional TRS, banana plug, etc. smaller holes.
Build your own Audio Snake or customized interface box. Some typical configurations you might consider:
24 XLR male sends or split sends (24)
20 XLR male sends and 4 XLR female returns (20x4)
20 XLR male sends and 4 TRS returns (20x4)
16 XLR male sends and 8 XLR returns (16x8)
16 XLR male sends and 4 XLR + 4 TRS returns (16x4x4)
16 XLR male sends and 4 XLR/TRS paralleled returns (16x4)
12 XLR male + 12 XLR female paralled sends/return combo (12)
... or whatever you want because it is DIY!!!
(I believe this model, Spectrum, and brand, Cable Data Technologies, was purchased by Belden some time back. I couldn't find much of a description of their products anywhere. I can assure you this is heavy duty and should be very rugged for stage use.)
