I think that depends on how you define a home studio. If you record to a PC, and leave it and the AD/DA interface (soundcard) and the tracking software out of the cost, then I think somebody like Harvey could get a pretty decent result with a mic and pre (under $200) recording a minimalist piece of music - say Eric Clapton, voice and acoustic guitar.

If you kick me out I am using a school computer with 63 more I.P. address's right next to me and I can set up 500 e-mail address's so I'll keep coming back. Please respect that I only want your honest opinion. Your childish jokes only make you look as amatuer as you are trying to make me look. I'm trying to do big things and I'm struggling at the bottom right now but I'm coming up. You guys have a great forum. I have revieved many e-mails from your members supporting what I'm doing and I really appreciate those that believe in music and support it blindly cuz the light is coming.
