I'm financially challenged, but have the need for a drum kit overhead mike. This will primarily be used for basic recording, on occassion I may use it for a live performance (indoor). Thanks in advance.

why only one mk012?? :S
you can get two for 200

Memo, where would I find 2 MC012s for $200 in the US ? The SoundRoom has the MC012 for $198each, Guitar Center no longer stocks these. Thanks

I got two 603s on sale at guitar center for 100 bucks which is a steal....i think they sound great...just my suggestion.

I also saw the 603's at Guitar Center for $45 each and I wanted to get a couple sooooo bad...I was visiting a friend at the time in Norfolk, VA and it was my first day in town. Figured id better wait and spread my funds out over the whole trip. besides...my girlfriend would have sniffed them out in the car probably and reminded me that I already have too many mics... I dont think 17 mics is that much.

Yea 45 dollars a piece is a steal...i couldnt believe it....i got em at the guitar center in richmond hahah...kidna close.

Guitar Center hasn't stopped carrying the MCO12, They're just waiting for the next smuggled out batch to come forth. They buy train carts full of them once they're smuggled out, that's why they can sell them at $99 each. The problem is, noone knows when they can get the next train load :D
